Sheena is a punk rocker

I FINALLY finished the knitted Joey Ramone doll from Stitch n' Bitch Nation! I started it, what, a year ago? Evie LOVES him, and calls out for him at bedtime. I just can't figure out how to attach the sunglasses that are pictured in the book. I am assuming they are just little ovals of clear red plastic but I have no idea if they were glued on or what. His hair still needs to be fluffed up too. It looks too much like dreadlocks.

I also made Evie a dolly with lace edged black bloomers who will eventually be a pirate when I finish her clothes. She's a little more gothy than I intended, but pirate and goth work together I guess. She hangs out with Joey in Evie's chair and it looks like he has this huge amazon punk girlfriend. We call her Sheena.

BTW comments are still off until I upgrade my Movable Type installation, but I'm going to start checking the Live Journal feed comments if you want to leave me a message!

In other news.... still no baby. 38 weeks and I mowed the lawn yesterday too. Nothin'! I am having fewer contractions now than I did at 28 weeks! @#$%^!!
