AAAAAGGGGHHHH!
Its a MADHOUSE!
I have two children! Its crazy!
Evie said "triumvirate" to describe us yesterday during her first outing with mama and Baby Sister. There was a slight bit of coaching involved, she's not that precocious. Yet.
I slept 5 hours last night!
Vivian is a good baby. Sleeps 4 hours at a stretch and is only cranky either in the mid-mornings or sometimes in the afternoon.
Evie loves "Baby Sister" and has been really good, bringing her little toys. She also loves Santa already and tells us so daily.
The pugs are mortified that there is yet another child in the house but as a treat they got a new bed. And baths.
Link Wray died! :( RIP Link. Its a shame you hated Washington DC. I never got to see you play because I was too lazy to drive to Richmond.
I'm getting a new sewing machine for Xmas. A Baby Lock Decorator's Choice. It cuts the thread for you at the end of a stitch! It makes 10 different kinds of buttonholes! I won't know what to do with so many buttonholes. (Put buttons in them, I guess...)

Holy Moses, that sewing machine is amazing. I am jealous of your buttonholer. Mine doesn't even have one built in. I need to get some kind of attachment - which they probably don't sell anymore because it is too old. Whenever I hear about buttonholers on sewing machines I think of this one advertisement I saw once that had the most fantastic typo ever. It said, in jaunty and excited type along-side the machine:
"Built-in buttholer!"
Ah, I still laugh when I think of that.

Oh doll,they are SO sweet together!
You luck duck getting such a cool machine!You can make tab curtains and button up everything now! ;) If only it had auto zipper installation ;)

"..I am jealous of your buttonholer.." I think I heard this being yelled hysterically Friday night as I was waiting for a bus in the Castro outside a bar called "Stud"..
Those dogs look confused.. it's like they know they've been reduced to furniture but are too lazy to do anything about it! :)
