Swamped!

I have managed to sew 18+ new dresses and 13 blankets in the past week for Pipsqueak A Go-Go, and I just have some minor things to finish up and seams to sew! The pirate girl dresses came out really cute, I cant wait to take pictures and post them! I am also going to LA next week so I have been trying to get everything ready for that, like my absentee ballot and pug boarding. And I have a cold. And Evie and Viv's birthday party is the weekend after I return from LA. Then Thanksgiving! THEN CHRISTMAS! IT NEVER ENDS! But its much better than being bored :)

Lucy Furr has developed this terrible habit of sitting behind me on my chair at the dining room table. She does it during dinner, when I'm on the laptop, anytime I sit at the table -- she just hops up and wedges herself in between me and the chair back. She also really loves to watch Lady and the Tramp with Evie. She growls and whines and runs around during the big rat chase scene.

Dame Darcy is signing books at Barnes & Noble in SF tomorrow! I might be there... since I missed Amy Sedaris last week I am going to try to get to this one.

And to add to all the chaos around here, we have a new pug! She is a foster rescue pug but we will probably just keep her since she's 13 years old. We named her Gladys. She's very sweet. She's doing a lot better since being here, she could barely walk when we got her. She has arthritis and is almost completely blind and deaf. Just like Ping, who is 11. I suspect the furry old biddies sit around and watch Matlock and Lawrence Welk while we are out.
